JS Polymer CementWaterproof coating
KF-JS300 Polymer Cement Waterproof
KeXin KF-JS300 JS polymer cement waterproof coating uses high-quality acrylate copolymer emulsion and special cement as main raw materials. After two-component on-site mixing, it forms a highly elastic waterproof membrane with interpenetrating network (IPN) structure. It combines the flexibility of polymers (elongation ≥80%) and the durability of cement (bond strength ≥1.0MPa), can effectively cover micro-cracks in the substrate, and bonds firmly to cement surfaces allowing direct tile application. Easy to apply, water-based, environmentally friendly, non-toxic and odorless, it is the preferred material for waterproofing projects in kitchens, bathrooms, balconies, swimming pools, basements, roofs, and other buildings.

Why choose JS polymer cement waterproof coating?
CoreAdvantages
IPN Interpenetrating Network Elastic Waterproofing Technology
Acrylic polymer emulsion and cement hydration products form an interpenetrating network (IPN) structure during the curing process. The polymer phase provides flexibility and extensibility (elongation at break ≥80%), while the cement phase provides strength and durability (bond strength ≥1.0MPa). The two materials interpenetrate and entangle with each other at the nanoscale, achieving a perfect balance between flexibility and strength.
Excellent crack resistance and substrate conformability
The coating's elongation at break ≥80% can effectively cover microcracks (≤0.3mm) in the substrate caused by temperature changes and slight settlement. The flexible waterproof membrane expands and contracts with the cement substrate without peeling or shelling. It has good adhesion and deformation-following ability on various substrates such as concrete, brick walls, aerated blocks, and gypsum boards.
Strong bonding on cement substrates — tiling-ready
The characteristics of cement-based materials ensure that the waterproof layer forms a dual bond of chemical bonding and mechanical anchoring with the cement mortar leveling layer and tile adhesive. The rough surface of the waterproof layer allows direct tile installation without additional interface treatment. After tiling, the pull-off strength is ≥0.5MPa with no hollowing or tile falling. An integrated solution for waterproofing and tiling on kitchen and bathroom walls.
Water-based and eco-friendly · non-toxic and odorless
Uses water as the dispersion medium, contains no organic solvents or formaldehyde. Passed the GB/T 23445 polymer cement waterproof coating standard and GB 18583 limit of harmful substances in adhesives for interior decoration materials testing. No volatile organic compounds or irritating odors. Suitable for waterproofing construction in kitchens, bathrooms, drinking water tanks, and other areas in close contact with the human body.
Convenient construction · high efficiency
The liquid and powder components are mixed at a 1:1 weight ratio and stirred before use. Can be applied by brushing, rolling, or scraping. Does not sag during vertical application, and a single coat can reach a thickness of 0.5-1.0mm. Construction tools can be cleaned with water. At room temperature of 25°C, it dries to the touch in 2-4 hours, allowing the next coat to be applied. High construction efficiency and short project duration.
Broad project adaptability
The Type II high-elasticity formula is suitable for lightweight walls and steel structure substrates with large deformation. The Type III high-strength formula is suitable for long-term water pressure environments such as basement exterior walls and base slabs. It can be combined with non-woven fabric or fiberglass mesh for reinforcement treatment to meet more demanding waterproofing requirements. It has been applied and verified in batch projects by leading real estate developers such as Vanke, Country Garden, and Poly.

Frequently AskedQuestions
ApplicationProcess
Substrate preparation
The substrate must be solid, flat, free of oil stains and floating dust. Cracks and holes should be pre-repaired with cement mortar. Internal and external corners should be rounded and chamfered. Concrete walls should be pre-wetted but without standing water. Detail nodes such as pipe roots and around floor drains should be pre-brushed with an additional layer for reinforcement.
Mixing
Weigh the liquid and powder at a 1:1 weight ratio. First pour the liquid into the mixing bucket, then slowly add the powder while stirring. Use an electric mixer to stir thoroughly for 3-5 min until a uniform, particle-free slurry is formed. After mixing, let it stand for 2 min for maturation and defoaming before use.
Coat application
Apply 2-3 coats using the cross-hatch method to ensure no missed spots. The first coat is 0.5mm as a primer; after 2-4h surface drying, apply the second coat at 0.5-0.7mm; the third coat at 0.5-0.8mm until the design thickness is reached. Use a brush for detailed treatment around pipes and floor drains. For vertical surfaces, apply from top to bottom to prevent sagging.
Curing protection
After construction, cure for 24-48h to allow the waterproof layer to fully solidify. During curing, stepping on it and water immersion are strictly prohibited. After complete curing, conduct a 24h water ponding test as specified, with a water depth ≥20mm. No leakage points is considered qualified. Only after passing the water ponding test can the protective layer and tile installation proceed.
Process acceptance
After each coat, check the coating thickness and appearance. No missed coating/no pinholes/no bubbles/no peeling. After the final coating is dry, check the thickness (by slicing or caliper) ≥85% of the design value. 100% inspection of node areas. After passing the water ponding test, sign the concealed works acceptance form before handover.
