Thermal Spray Zinc丝
KF-ZW100 Thermal Spray Zinc Wire
KF-ZW100 thermal spray zinc wire is drawn from 99.99% high-purity electrolytic zinc as raw material. It is used in arc spraying and flame spraying processes, where molten zinc particles impact the steel surface at high speed to form a dense zinc coating. According to the ISO 2063 standard, it provides long-term anti-corrosion protection for over 50 years.
CoreAdvantages
99.99% high-purity electrolytic zinc
Zinc wire is produced from SHG-grade electrolytic zinc (Zn > 99.99%) through a process of smelting, continuous casting, continuous rolling, and drawing. The impurity content is extremely low (Fe<0.001%/Cu<0.001%/Pb<0.003%)Ensures锌Coating的纯度和Sacrificial anodeProtection效率。
Compatible with arc and flame spraying
Multiple specifications of diameters 1.6/2.0/2.5/3.0/3.17mm meet the requirements of different spraying equipment. Suitable for both arc spraying (twin wire) and flame spraying (single wire). The wire surface is smooth and burr-free, ensuring smooth wire feeding without breakage or gun jamming.
ISO 2063 standard certification
Produced in accordance with ISO 2063 standard for thermal sprayed zinc coatings. The porosity of the zinc coating is less than 3%, and the adhesion strength exceeds 10 MPa. When combined with a sealing primer and topcoat, it provides a design protection life of over 50 years. Suitable for major projects such as bridges, gates, offshore wind turbines, and steel towers.
Professional coating technology support services
Kexin has an experienced coating R&D and application team providing full-process support — from substrate analysis, coating selection and process-parameter optimization to on-site application guidance.
Eco-compliant green manufacturing system
All products are RoHS/REACH certified and their VOC content meets national environmental standards. Environmental performance test reports from authoritative third-party testing organizations such as SGS and CTI are provided.
Complete quality control and batch traceability
A comprehensive quality control system is in place from raw material intake to finished product delivery. Each batch of products undergoes rigorous physical and chemical performance testing and coating simulation testing. A batch test report and product quality certificate are included with each shipment.

ApplicationProcess
Surface preparation
Clean substrates thoroughly of oil and rust. Blast steel to Sa2.5. Pre-treat per product spec to keep the substrate clean. Ambient 5-40°C, relative humidity<85%。
Primer / pre-treatment
Select the matching primer or pre-treatment per substrate and system. Mix strictly at the stated ratio and control DFT. Proceed after the primer dries; pre-stripe critical areas.
Main-coat application
Apply the main coat per the process spec, strictly controlling DFT, temperature/humidity and flash-off to keep the film uniform without sagging or pinholes.
Curing process
Bake or air dry at room temperature until fully cured according to product requirements. Maintain a uniform oven temperature (±5°C) and gradually increase the temperature to avoid coating defects. For room temperature curing, ensure adequate ventilation and suitable humidity.
Inspection & acceptance
We test all indicators including film thickness, adhesion, gloss, color difference, and chemical resistance. We conduct comprehensive performance testing according to relevant standards. After all tests pass, we issue a test report and quality assurance certificate, and ship the product in dust-free packaging.
