FAQ

As with everything booking a family ski holiday is a balance of variables and in some cases compromises. The aim of psste is to show you holiday options that will give you a better ski holiday and to do this we have set out some criteria.

How psste works

  • Psste is free to use.
  • To support the site and avoid excessive advertising we use affiliate links. Though this does not cost you anything, we get a small fee from the companies for referring you.
  • We will clearly identify any sponsored content.
  • Any accommodation featured on Psste is available for the identified weeks at the time of publishing.
  • Psste is not a travel agent.
  • Any bookings made via the featured links are direct with the companies or owners and will be subject to their terms and conditions.

Content

  • All content, photographs and images on psste.com belong to psste and permission for re-use must be requested and granted.
  • If you would like to be featured on psste or link to any of our content, please contact us here.

Accommodation

  • The main focus will be on self-catering options, as we feel they offer better flexibility, options and value for money for a family
  • The accommodation featured on psste is based on independent research and suitability.
  • The options we suggest will avoid the use of pullout beds and bed settees; where possible we will avoid kids sleeping in alcoves. ie For a family of 4, we’d feature a two bed flat.
  • Mainly we look for accommodation that has space for the family or group to enjoy their holiday.

Location

  • We’ll only suggest accommodation where the location can be verified.
  • Aiming to keep any walk to the slopes to a minimum, allowing for kids in ski boots.
  • Ski school and hire accessible from the accommodation.

The skiing

  • Most resorts have a good variety of pistes, the options we suggest will have a bias towards blues and reds
  • We’ll also look for a well connected ski area, so if your skiing time is limited needs to be in 2 hour sessions. Be it family skiing, lessons or getting away by yourself, you’re not just stuck to the same pistes each time.

Costs shown

  • Ski holidays are expensive, we know that, but it’s worth it. To help we aim to keep the accommodation cost for a family of four below £375 per head for self catering.
  • We’ll also list out the additional costs, ski hire, ski passes, parking etc.

At the end of the day we won’t recommend a holiday we wouldn’t go on.
