KF-GF100 Epoxy Glass Flake Coating
KF-GF100 epoxy glass flake coating uses epoxy resin as the base material with 10-30% micron-sized glass flakes added. The flakes are arranged in parallel overlapping layers within the coating to form a labyrinth effect, reducing water vapor transmission rate to 1/10 of ordinary epoxy and chloride ion penetration depth to less than 0.5mm. It provides ultimate barrier protection, chemical resistance, wear resistance, and impact resistance. Widely used for heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating of steel structures in extreme corrosive environments such as offshore platforms/ships/storage tanks/FGD desulfurization.

Micron-scale glass flakes (thickness 2-5 microns / particle size 50-200 microns) are arranged in parallel overlapping layers within the coating. Water molecules and corrosive ions must bypass layer upon layer of flakes to reach the substrate, extending the permeation path by 50-100 times. Chloride ion penetration depth is less than 0.5mm (EN13396), approximately 1/20 that of ordinary epoxy.
Chemical Resistance · Storage Tank Lining
Resistant to 98% sulfuric acid / 37% hydrochloric acid / 85% phosphoric acid / sodium hydroxide / seawater / crude oil / refined oil, etc. Widely used in chemical storage tanks / waste liquid pools / reactors / desulfurization absorption towers and other extreme working conditions requiring simultaneous chemical resistance and wear resistance. Coating thickness of 500-1000 microns can be achieved in a single application.
Wear Resistance · Impact Resistance
Glass flakes significantly enhance coating hardness and wear resistance. Taber abrasion less than 30mg (C-17 wheel 1000g 1000 cycles). Resistant to slurry and solids-containing fluid erosion, resistant to gravel and hail impact. It is the preferred coating solution for heavy-duty anti-corrosion in the splash zone and underwater areas of offshore steel structures.

सतह तैयारी
सब्सट्रेट को तेल व जंग से पूर्ण साफ़ करें। स्टील को Sa2.5 तक ब्लास्ट करें। उत्पाद विनिर्देश अनुसार पूर्व-उपचार करें। परिवेश 5-40°C, सापेक्ष आर्द्रता<85%。
प्राइमर / पूर्व-उपचार
सब्सट्रेट व प्रणाली अनुसार प्राइमर/पूर्व-उपचार चुनें। अनुपात-सटीक मिश्रण व DFT नियंत्रण। सुखने के बाद अगला चरण; संवेदनशील स्थानों पर प्री-स्ट्राइप।
मुख्य कोट एप्लिकेशन
प्रक्रिया अनुसार मुख्य कोट लगाएँ; DFT, ताप-आर्द्रता व फ़्लैश-ऑफ़ कड़ाई से नियंत्रित ताकि फ़िल्म समान हो, बहाव/पिनहोल नहीं।
उपचार प्रक्रिया
उत्पाद की आवश्यकता के अनुसार स्टोविंग या वातांश सूखने द्वारा पूर्ण क्योरिंग सुनिश्चित करें। ओवन के तापमान को ±5°C में एकसमान रखें तथा धीरे-धीरे बढ़ाएँ ताकि कोटिंग दोष न हों। वातांश-क्योर होने वाली ग्रेड में पर्याप्त वायु-विनिमय एवं उपयुक्त आर्द्रता रखें।
निरीक्षण और स्वीकृति
सभी मापदंडों की जाँच: शुष्क-फिल्म मोटाई, आलेपन-संलग्नता, चमक, वर्ण-अंतर एवं रासायनिक प्रतिरोध। प्रासंगिक मानकों के अनुसार पूर्ण कार्यक्षमता परीक्षण किया जाता है। सभी शर्तें उत्तीर्ण होने के पश्चात् ही परीक्षण रिपोर्ट एवं वारंटी जारी की जाती है और वस्तु धूल-रहित पैकेजिंग में प्रेषित की जाती है।
