KF-MT400 magnesium alloy has high chemical activity and is highly prone to corrosion. It adopts a dual-layer protection system of dedicated sealing primer plus weather-resistant topcoat, with salt spray resistance of over 500h. Widely used for long-term anti-corrosion protection of drone frames/notebook lightweight structural parts/sports equipment.

Magnesium alloy anti-corrosion coating is a heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating designed by KeXin New Material in accordance with ISO 12944 standards. Scientifically formulated with high-quality resins and high-performance anti-rust pigments, it offers excellent anti-corrosion performance and adhesion. It is widely used for protective coating in heavy-duty anti-corrosion fields such as steel structures, bridges, petrochemicals, and ships.
The product has passed rigorous salt spray testing (>1000h) and adhesion testing (>5MPa), and with a complete base-intermediate-topcoat system, it can provide long-lasting protection for 15-25 years. Kexin provides free coating design solutions and technical support services.

Dedicated sealing anti-corrosion system for magnesium alloys
Magnesium alloy has a standard electrode potential of -2.37V, the lowest among commonly used metals, making it highly susceptible to galvanic corrosion. The dedicated sealing primer contains chromate replacement corrosion inhibitors and lamellar fillers to isolate corrosive ions (Cl-/SO42-). The topcoat provides weather resistance and decorative protection. Dual-layer protection with salt spray resistance >500h.

Preparo de superfície
Thoroughly clean the substrate surface to remove oil, oxide scale, and mold release agent. Sandblast metal substrates to Sa2.5 grade. Wipe plastic substrates with a specialized cleaner. Sand wood surfaces smooth and repair defects. Remove loose old coatings from existing substrates.
fundo / selamento
Select the appropriate primer or sealer based on the substrate and coating system. The primer enhances topcoat adhesion and seals substrate pores. Strictly mix according to the product ratio and control the film thickness to 10–15 μm. After baking or air drying, inspect the primer for defects before proceeding to the next process.

Apply 2-3 coats of topcoat via precision spraying or manual application. Ensure adequate flash-off between coats and control film thickness to 30-50μm. For artistic effect coatings, use specialized tools such as scrapers, trowels, or sponges to create texture and layering. For metallic flash paint, ensure uniform flash effect in the final coat.
secagem / cura
Bake at the temperature specified by the product requirements or allow to air-dry at room temperature until fully cured. The oven temperature uniformity should be ±5°C, with gradual heating to avoid coating defects. For UV coatings, pass through a UV curing machine at 800-1200 mJ/cm². After curing, allow natural cooling to room temperature before conducting performance testing.
inspeção / proteção
After complete curing, test gloss/adhesion/hardness/color difference/chemical resistance. For artistic coatings, check the consistency of texture effects. Once all pass, protect with dust-free materials, package, and ship. Attach batch inspection report and quality certificate.
