KF-WH100 Automotive Wheel Hub Coating
KF-WH100 special paint for automotive wheels is based on hydroxy acrylic resin and amino resin, crosslinked and cured by high-temperature baking at 140-160°C. Coating gloss greater than 90GU / salt spray resistance greater than 1000h / stone chip resistance ISO20567 less than grade 2. RAL and Pantone full color range supports custom colors. Widely used in OEM coating and aftermarket refinishing of aluminum alloy wheels for automobiles and motorcycles.

The hydroxy acrylic amino baking paint system has a gloss greater than 90GU, presenting a mirror-grade full metallic appearance. Aluminum powder directional alignment technology gives silver metallic paint excellent metallic flake effect. The clear topcoat layer gives the coating a diamond-like deep gloss and protection. The RAL full color range supports custom color matching for various wheel brands.
Salt Spray Resistance 1000h·Wheel-Specific
The coating's salt spray resistance is greater than 1000h, far exceeding the industry standard of 500h for passenger car wheel coatings. Resistant to brake dust (high-temperature alkaline) without corrosion / resistant to de-icing salt / resistant to car wash chemicals. Stone chip impact test ISO20567 rating less than grade 2 protects wheels from being damaged by road gravel.
High-Temperature Baking · Assembly Line Compatible
Adapted for 140-160°C baking for 20-30 minutes on automated wheel hub coating lines. Forms a complete coating system with wheel hub pretreatment (passivation/powder primer). Electrostatic rotary bell spraying ensures uniform film thickness (20-25 microns). Can coat 2000-4000 wheel hubs per shift.

ApplicationProcess
Preparo de superfície
Limpe bem o substrato contra óleo e ferrugem. Granalhe o aço a Sa2.5. Pré-trate conforme a ficha. Ambiente 5-40 °C, umidade relativa<85%。
Primer / pré-tratamento
Escolher primer ou pré-tratamento conforme substrato e sistema. Misturar na proporção exata e controlar a espessura. Avançar após a secagem; pré-pintar áreas críticas.
Aplicação da camada principal
Aplicar a camada principal conforme o processo, controlando espessura, clima e flash-off para um filme uniforme sem escorrimento.
Curing process
Bake or air dry at room temperature until fully cured according to product requirements. Maintain a uniform oven temperature (±5°C) and gradually increase the temperature to avoid coating defects. For room temperature curing, ensure adequate ventilation and suitable humidity.
Inspection and Acceptance
We test all indicators including film thickness, adhesion, gloss, color difference, and chemical resistance. We conduct comprehensive performance testing according to relevant standards. After all tests pass, we issue a test report and quality assurance certificate, and ship the product in dust-free packaging.
