Coastal infrastructure faces the harshest natural tests on Earth. High salt spray, persistent high humidity, and intense ultraviolet radiation constitute a "C5-M" level extremely high corrosion environment, capable of destroying unprotected steel structures within just a few years. Recently, PZSSS successfully provided a comprehensive anti-corrosion coating solution for a large seaside cross-sea bridge, ensuring its structural safety for decades to come.

Project Challenge: The Assault of Salt Spray and Heat-Humidity The bridge spans a high-salinity bay, where traditional paint typically begins to peel and flake within 24 months under such conditions. The project party required a coating system that could both resist chloride ion penetration and withstand heavy-traffic wear, while maintaining a long-term bright and fresh appearance.
PZSSS Solution: Triple Protection System Our technical team has customized a high-performance protection solution for the marine environment:
- Primer Protection: Uses PZSSS Epoxy Zinc-Rich Primer, providing excellent cathodic protection to fundamentally prevent rusting.
- Intermediate reinforcement: Apply epoxy micaceous iron oxide intermediate paint, utilizing its flake structure to form a dense physical barrier that effectively blocks moisture and salt.
- Topcoat Shield: Select PZSSS fluorocarbon topcoat, providing industry-leading UV resistance and self-cleaning function.

Project Results: Verification of Excellent Quality The acceptance inspection results after construction show that all adhesion indicators have achieved 100% compliance. Now, under the protection of the PZSSS solid shield, the bridge is expected to have its maintenance cycle extended by more than 15 years, significantly reducing long-term maintenance and operation costs. PZSSS will continue to lead the standards for marine-grade industrial coatings.
