I. Pre-application preparation — Substrate inspection and treatment

1Substrate inspection and preparation standard

Preparation standard:Concrete substrate grinding / shot blasting

Roughness requirement:CSP 3-5 (ICRI standard)

Cleanliness requirement:Free of oil, laitance and loose particles

Moisture content:Moisture content <6% (CM method)

pH value：pH<10

Crack repair:Cracks >0.5 mm require V-grooving and repair with epoxy mortar

2Paint preparation and mixing

Mixing method:Mix with electric stirrer at 300-500 rpm for 3-5 minutes

Mixing ratio:Mixing ratio as indicated on the product label

Curing:Two-component: induction time 10-15 minutes

Pot life:Pot life after mixing approx. 30-60 minutes (23°C), varies by product

3Environmental condition check

Application temperature:10-30°C (substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point)

Relative humidity:relative humidity ≤85%

Ventilation requirements:Good ventilation

II. Application procedure — Selection of coating method

III. Recoat Interval and Curing

Minimum overcoating interval:Can be overcoated when touch-dry (approx. 8-12 hours at 23°C)

Maximum overcoating interval:Beyond 48 hours, sanding and roughening required

⚠ Risk of intercoat adhesion failure when overcoating after the maximum recoat interval:When the maximum overcoating interval is exceeded, intercoat adhesion will drop significantly; the surface must be sweep-blasted (low pressure 0.2-0.3 MPa, non-metallic abrasive) to create mechanical anchor roughness, otherwise the coating will delaminate.

Curing conditions:At 23°C: foot traffic after 24 hours, light service after 72 hours, fully cured in 7 days. Avoid contact with water during curing.

4. Safety and environmental requirements
⚠ PPE requirements: respirator + goggles + rubber gloves + safety shoes
⚠ Ensure good ventilation of the work area to prevent solvent build-up
⚠ Open flames strictly prohibited during curing
⚠ Waste paint disposed of as hazardous waste
