KeXin KF-PU500 polyurethane acrylic topcoat uses imported aliphatic isocyanate (HDI trimer) as the curing agent and highly weather-resistant acrylic resin as the main agent. The coating possesses excellent UV aging resistance and decorative appearance retention. As the final topcoat of a heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating system, it provides steel structures with comprehensive triple protection: weather resistance, chemical medium resistance, and decorative appearance. Polyurethane acrylic topcoat is a professional coating product developed by KeXin New Material for the automotive coating industry. It uses imported resins and highly durable pigments, with precise color matching and excellent application performance. It is widely used in automotive OEM production lines and aftermarket repair spraying.

It uses top-grade aliphatic isocyanate (HDI trimer) as the curing agent, combined with a dual light stabilization system of highly effective ultraviolet absorbers (UVA) and hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS). Xenon lamp accelerated aging 2000h (equivalent to 10 years outdoors) color difference ΔE<3，kadar kekalan kilau>70%. The coating does not chalk, yellow, or lose gloss.
High-gloss decorative
High-solids acrylic resin provides excellent leveling and fullness. 20° gloss >85GU, 60° gloss >92GU. The coating surface is smooth and even, with vivid colors and a full texture. It offers any color selection from 30+ color systems such as RAL, Pantone, and national standard color cards, and supports precise computer color matching and paint formulation.
Comprehensive chemical resistance
Resistant to 93# gasoline/diesel/engine oil (no change for 24h). Resistant to 10% sulfuric acid/10% hydrochloric acid/10% sodium hydroxide/saturated sodium chloride solution (no change for 7d). Resistant to acidic pollutants such as SO₂, H₂S, NOx in industrial atmosphere. Suitable for harsh environments such as chemical plant areas, refineries, and coastal industrial areas.

Pemeriksaan substrat
The intermediate coat surface must be fully cured, clean and dry. Free of oil, dust, and condensation. If the intermediate coat has chalking, it must be sanded and removed. If there is local damage, the intermediate coat must be repaired by touch-up. Ambient temperature 5-40°C, relative humidity<85%。
Pencampuran
Strictly mix the main agent and curing agent at a 4:1 volume ratio. First stir the main agent until uniform, then slowly add the curing agent and stir for 5 min. Add an appropriate amount of PU thinner to adjust to a working viscosity of 16-20s (Ford cup No. 4). Filter through a 200-mesh screen before use. Induction time 15 min.
penyemburan basecoat
High-pressure airless spraying: nozzle 0.38-0.48mm / pressure 12-18MPa. Spray 2 coats with a total dry film thickness of 50-80μm. The first coat is a mist coat for coverage (20-30μm), with a 15-20min flash-off interval. The second coat is a full wet coat (30-50μm) to establish the final gloss.
Pengeringan dan pengawetan
At 25°C, tack-free in 2h / hard dry in 24h. At low temperature 5°C, hard dry is extended to 48h. Polyurethane curing is sensitive to moisture; avoid contact with water during application and curing. Forced drying: 60°C × 60min can accelerate curing.
Final Inspection
Final acceptance shall be carried out 7 days after curing. Test gloss (60° gloss meter), color difference (spectrophotometer), adhesion (pull-off method ≥5MPa), and film thickness (ISO 2808). Visual inspection at 100cm shall show no color difference / orange peel / particles / sagging. Provide complete test reports and warranty certificate.
