Polyurethane sports flooring is a high-performance industrial floor coating developed by KeXin New Material. It offers excellent wear resistance, pressure resistance, and chemical resistance. Primer sealer
Apply waterborne polyurethane primer evenly by roller in 1 coat. Penetrates and seals concrete capillaries to enhance the bond between the elastic layer and the substrate. After the primer dries for 4-6h, the elastic layer can be applied. Primer consumption 0.15-0.2kg/m².
Elastic layer application
Mix waterborne polyurethane elastic layer material with rubber granules (optional) and apply evenly with a trowel or scraper to the designed thickness of 3-5mm. The thickness of a single application shall not exceed 2mm; if thickening is required, apply in multiple passes. The interval between each pass is 6-8h (25°C); proceed to the next pass after the surface is dry to the touch.
Topcoat sealing
Apply waterborne polyurethane topcoat by roller in 1-2 coats. The topcoat provides the final anti-slip texture and wear-resistant protection. Fine quartz sand can be added to the topcoat as needed to adjust the degree of anti-slip. Avoid foot traffic and water immersion within 24h after the topcoat application is completed.
Line marking and curing
After the topcoat is dry to the touch for 48h, carry out court line marking according to competition standards. Use dedicated waterborne line marking paint and templates to ensure accurate dimensions. The court can be put into use after the line marking dries for 24h. Full curing takes 7 days; during this period, avoid heavy objects rolling over and contact with chemicals.
