PU polyurethane wood lacquer is a wood coating developed by KeXin New Material adhering to a green and environmentally friendly approach. Using high-quality resins and eco-friendly solvents/water as media, it offers high transparency, full film build, delicate feel, and fast drying. Widely used for coating furniture, flooring, wooden doors, and other wood products.

Two-component polyurethane has high crosslink density and excellent leveling. Coating fullness (D Profile) >85%, presenting mirror-grade gloss. Clear lacquer is transparent and colorless, perfectly showcasing the natural beauty of wood grain. Pigmented lacquer offers full color saturation with RAL full color range available. The film is as refined and warm as piano lacquer.
Heat-, water- and daily-wear resistant.
After curing, the paint film pencil hardness >H, coin scratch resistant, no whitening. Resistant to 100°C hot water cups placed for 30min with no white rings and no blistering. ApplicationProcess
Surface preparation
Thoroughly clean the substrate surface to remove oil, dust, and old coating. Control wood moisture content within 8-12%. Sandblast metal substrates to Sa2.5 level. Apply 2-3 coats of waterproof putty on flat, dry wall surfaces, sanding smooth between coats. Remove loose old coating and repair defects on existing surfaces.
Priming / sealing
Select a compatible primer or sealer based on the substrate and coating system. Wood sealer prevents resin and pigment bleeding. Metal primer enhances adhesion and prevents rust. Wall sealer prevents substrate water absorption affecting results. Allow primer to dry before proceeding to the next step.
Topcoat / effect layer application
[Product Spec] Topcoat is precisely sprayed or manually applied in 2-3 coats. Each coat is fully flashed off to control film thickness. Artistic effect coatings use special tools such as trowels/float/sponge to create texture and layers. Strictly control the interval time of each coat and the application environment conditions.
Drying / curing
[Product Spec] Bake or air-dry at room temperature to full cure according to product requirements. The oven temperature should be uniform and gradually increased to avoid coating film defects. UV coatings are instantly cured by passing through a UV curing machine. Room-temperature-curing types ensure environmental ventilation and suitable humidity. Naturally cool after curing.
Inspection / protection
After full cure, test gloss, adhesion, hardness, color difference, and chemical resistance. For artistic coatings, inspect texture consistency and overall aesthetics. After all tests pass, package with dust-free protective materials for shipment. Include batch test report and warranty certificate.
