EpoxyStructural adhesive
KF-AD100 Epoxy Structural Adhesive
KF-AD100 two-component epoxy structural adhesive forms a highly cross-linked, three-dimensional network structure after curing. Shear strength >20MPa (steel-to-steel) and tensile strength >40MPa. Widely used for structural bonding and building reinforcement of metals, composite materials, concrete, and stone. It replaces welding and bolt connections.
ProductsOverview
Epoxy structural adhesive is a high-performance professional coating product developed and manufactured by Kexin New Materials. It is scientifically formulated with high-quality resin and imported pigments and fillers, exhibiting excellent adhesion, durability, and application performance. It is widely used in industrial manufacturing, architectural decoration, automotive, and transportation industries.
As a source coating manufacturer, Kexin New Materials strictly adheres to the ISO9001 quality management system in all aspects of its epoxy structural adhesives, from formulation design and raw material procurement to production and filling. Its products are certified to environmental regulations such as RoHS and REACH. Free sample testing and on-site technical engineer guidance are provided.
Why choose epoxy structural adhesive?
CoreAdvantages
>20MPa ultra-high shear strength
This two-component epoxy resin with amine curing agent exhibits extremely high crosslinking density. The steel-to-steel lap shear strength exceeds 20 MPa (ISO 4587), achieving structural bonding levels. It can replace traditional welding (no heat deformation) and bolted connections (no stress concentration). It is widely used in automotive, aerospace, and building reinforcement.
Multi-substrate universal bonding
It exhibits excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates, including metals (steel/aluminum/stainless steel/copper), composite materials (CFRP/GFRP), concrete, stone, ceramics, and wood. It also shows some adhesion to oiled steel surfaces (oil shear > 15MPa), reducing surface treatment requirements.
Fatigue resistance and aging resistance
Epoxy structural adhesives exhibit excellent fatigue resistance (fatigue strength >8 MPa after 1 million cycles). They are resistant to water, salt spray, oil, and solvents. Temperature resistance ranges from -40°C to 120°C. Service life is >50 years in building reinforcement applications.
Professional coating technology support services
Kexin has an experienced coatings R&D and applications team that supports the whole process - substrate analysis, coating selection, optimisation of process parameters and on-site application guidance. Our engineers commission the coating parameters on your own production line so that finish quality and output are both optimised.
Eco-compliant green manufacturing system
All products are RoHS/REACH compliant and their VOC content meets national environmental standards. Waterborne and high-solids low-VOC formulations are continuously refined to keep pace with ever stricter environmental requirements. Environmental performance test reports issued by third-party authorities such as SGS and CTI are available on request.
Complete quality control and batch traceability
A quality-control system covering the whole process, from incoming raw materials to finished-goods dispatch. Every batch undergoes rigorous physico-chemical testing and simulated application trials. Batch numbers are traceable end to end, so raw-material sources and production data can be retrieved. Each shipment is released with a batch test report and a product warranty, so customers can use it with confidence.

Frequently AskedFAQ
ApplicationProcess
Surface preparation
Substrate must be thoroughly cleaned of oil and rust. Blast steel to Sa2.5. Prepare the surface per the product requirements. Ambient 5-40°C relative humidity<85%。
Primer / pre-treatment
Select a compatible primer or pretreatment according to the substrate and coating system. Mix strictly in the specified ratio and control the film thickness. Proceed to the next step after the primer dries.
Main-coat application
Apply the main coat per the process requirements. Strictly control parameters such as film thickness and temperature/humidity. Ensure a uniform coating free of sagging and pinholes.
Curing process
Oven-cure per the product requirements, or air-dry at room temperature. Keep the oven temperature uniform and ramp it up gradually. For room-temperature-cure grades, ensure ventilation and humidity control.
Inspection & acceptance
Test all parameters including film thickness, adhesion and gloss. Once everything passes, issue the test report and quality certificate, then pack and ship in a clean room.
