CoreAdvantages

Redefining quality standards for automotive refinishing

Outstanding corrosion resistance

The epoxy polyamide curing system forms a dense coating that effectively blocks the penetration of water, oxygen, and corrosive ions. It withstands over 500 hours of salt spray testing without blistering or corrosion, providing reliable long-term anti-corrosion protection for metal substrates.

Works on many substrates

It exhibits excellent adhesion to a variety of commonly used automotive substrates, including cold-rolled steel, galvanized steel, aluminum alloy, and stainless steel. There is no need to frequently switch primer products for different substrates, simplifying procurement and inventory management.

Fast drying, high efficiency

Baking at 60°C for 30 minutes allows for immediate sanding, while at room temperature (25°C), sanding can be done within 2-4 hours. The pot life extends up to 4 hours, eliminating the need for frequent mixing during large panel spraying, significantly improving construction efficiency.

Excellent filling and sealing

High-solid formulation (55%+), with excellent filling and covering ability for sanding marks and minor defects. Effectively seals the pores of the putty layer, preventing the topcoat from being absorbed and causing loss of gloss.

Strong compatibility

Outstanding intercoat adhesion to body filler, primer surfacer, basecoat and clearcoat. Fits PPG, BASF and Axalta mainstream systems.

ApplicationProcess

1

Surface preparation

Abrade the substrate to Sa2.5 / St2 and remove oil and dust. Sand body filler smooth with P240-P320 paper.

2

Mixing

Main agent: curing agent = 4:1, mix evenly. Add 10-20% thinner to adjust viscosity based on the application method. Filter through a 200-mesh screen before use.

3

Spray application

HVLP spray gun / 2.0-2.5 bar / 15-20 cm. Apply 2-3 coats, with 5-10 minutes of flash-off between each coat. Total film thickness: 60-80 μm.

4

Dry & sand

Dries hard at 60°C for 30 minutes or at 25°C for 2-4 hours. Wet sand with P400-P600 sandpaper until the surface is smooth, then clean and remove dust.

5

Midcoat / Topcoat

After sanding and cleaning the primer, apply primer surfacer or basecoat directly. Ensure the primer surface is dry, clean and uncontaminated.
